Hi Everyone!
I'm Camille, a room designing koala. I re-did my friends the pink and white cat, Sprinkles, and the Lil' Kinz St. Bernard, Clyde's, rooms. Here are the before and after pics:
Sprinkles' Room Before
Sprinkles' room is really empty! The window and PSI chair are kind of random, so she definitely needs some more furniture over there. Sprinkles also asked for a dancing area, someplace where she can switch on her boombox and bust a move. So here is what I did.
Sprinkles' Room After
Sprinkles needed a seating area, not just a chair and window. So I added a Loaded Lounger from the Curio Shop and took her bedside table and put it in between her PSI and the Lounger. The I topped it off with an orchid and a cat shaped window (also from the Curio Shop). To replace Sprinkles' old table, I placed a small, decorative dresser and ballerina lamp next to her bed. The I put her storage box at the opposite side of the room to make way for a pink vanity and ballet chair. After I was finished, I relaxed in the seating area and watched Sprinkles dance on her new dance floor with pop star lights blaring at her, and a radio blasting out tunes. Sprinkles ADORED her new room, and suggested me to Clyde. Now Clyde's room was even worse than Sprinkles', take a look at this.
Clyde's Room Before
I am flabbergasted at how somebody can live in such a plain, boring room. So I really fancied it up a bit.
Very chic and modern, but still a bit of that old time, antique looking furniture. I couldn't stand to look at this room with all of that blue, so first thing I did was put up new wallpaper and flooring. I thought a kitchen might be nice, so I immediately added this gorgeous fridge and oven set. Then some black counters and white stools made a nice place to visit with friends and snack on some freshly cooked food. Realizing that Clyde would only be able to cook with an oven, I added a slick, black blender and sandwich maker. The blacks and grays complimented each other nicely, and went with the modern look of the wallpaper. And of course I had to keep his PSI, so I moved the fireplace to a different corner and set a comfy wicker chair with it. For storage, I thought these barrels would look old fashioned-ish, and to go with the look an Antique toilet and sink made a cute, little bathroom. To make his bed area a bit more private, his room divider looked great with a bed from the same room theme. Clyde loved the finished look, and we sat down together for a nice chat and snack.
What do you think of this room? If you have a room you would like remodeled, please take a screen shot of it, put it into a website like Image Shack, and then you can copy the web address for the page with the picture on it, and then post it into a comment. Please add your pet's name and what kind of look your interested in. Thanks!
